Decoration philosophy/ Innredningsfilosofi

(old picture, the sofa has moved to the living room)

My family room does not really work. That make me think. What do I want from this room? What is important for me in whatever room? Well, here comes my own personal decoration philosophy:

- the room must work for the needs of my family (because family comes first...)
- the room is easy to clean and to keep tidy (because I have a lot of other things to do)
- the room makes me smile (because if mummy's happy, everybody's happy...)
- the room is frugaly decorated (because we live on one income in a two income world...)
- the room contains something homemade, something personal, something that is ME (because its afterall my house and it reflects my amd my familys style/personality)
- the room has an element of surprise (because everybody likes surprises, don't we?)

Genius, now I just have to apply that to my house and I will live happily ever after!

Eg får ikkje dagligstova mi te å funka. Det fikk meg te å tenka. Ka vil  eg med rommet? Ka e viktigt for meg i ka så helst rom? OK. Her e min heilt personlige innredningsfilosofi:

I like you decorating philosophy!! I was also wondering what language you speak? My husband was stationed in Germany for 18 months when he was in the Army.
