basket organization

I use A LOT of bakets/boxes around my house... for all kind of stuff.
 All kind of baskets.

master bedroom - hair stuff

washcloths

master bedroom
never ending knitting project

kid's bedroom - books

kid's bedroom
extra blankets for cold nights

living room - newspaper

livingroom - babyboys toys

livingroom
boxes: music sheets/notes
suitcase: scrapbook paper

livingroom - children's books

kitchen - picnic stuff

dining room:
breakfeast basket
fruit basket
napkin basket

guest room/sewing nook

...and there are even more.

Do you use baskets for storing?

Tip: You can find cheap baskets at the thriftstore and "whitewash" them with watered down white or grey acrylic paint...
or spraypaint them.

Hi Margitta, I found your blog from an old Nester linky. I love to use baskets and boxes in my California home, too. But what really caught my eye was the box marked L'Abri. I wondered if it was from the ministry of the same name, or if it was just something you made. Thanks!
